Video of Seth Rollins undergoing surgery, was it successful?, doctor's update and more

The long road to recovery begins

The past few days have been quite turbulent for the former World Champion Seth Rollins as he had to painfully relinquish his title and observe from the sidelines, as the new World Champion will be crowned soon.

It was reported earlier about how Rollins was scheduled to undergo a surgery to fix his torn ACL and MCL on Wednesday and a video of the same has been uploaded by the WWE.

Seth Rollins is first seen limping out of the car and getting into the hospital. Rollins talks about what exactly transpired during his match with Kane and how his ‘knee just caved’ in after a sunset flip attempt on Kane.

When it comes to the gravity of his injury, Dr. Jeffrey Dugas broke the bad news that it was a higher-level knee injury that got aggravated due to the bad tears in his knee.

The good news, though, was that the surgery went successfully and Dr. Fugas even termed it a big win. When it come to the duration of Rollin’s recuperation, the times frame of 6-9 months still stands and we might not get to witness the Architect in time for WrestleMania 32.

As far as the World Heavyweight Championship goes, Rollins was of the opinion that the throne that is rightfully his – was being occupied by someone else. By staying true to Kayfabe, Rollins vowed to return and reclaim what is rightfully his.

The path to recovery has begun for Rollins and his return would undoubtedly yield one of the biggest pops in recent memory. Wishing Rollins a speedy rehabilitation and safe recovery.
