WWE News: Reason the women of Raw are complaining about Sasha Banks-Charlotte feud

The Raw women’s division has centered around two people

Since the end of November, a few of the women in the red brand have been complaining about the Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair feud, begging for it to end. Summer Rae and Emma tweeted their frustrations at the same time on the night that Sasha Banks won her third title from Charlotte Flair at Charlotte, North Carolina.

Nia Jax took to Twitter this past week to express her frustrations as well, making a reference to the movie Groundhog Day, where the main character lives in the same day over and over again:

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this is all part of a storyline. Emma is set to debut next week as Emmalina, Nia Jax has been directionless, and Summer Rae has been out with injury, and it has not been reported when she will return.

Alicia Fox is not involved in any feud as well, while Paige is recovering from a neck injury, but her future with the company is uncertain. Bayley and Dana Brooke have been the only other women consistently featured, but even of late, they have not been in any real storyline.

The basis of the future storyline, where the women will protest against General Manager Mick Foley is far more realistic, as the division is centred only around two women. SmackDown Live, on the other hand, has utilised all the women on their roster, except Eva Marie, who has been away filming movies.

Sasha Banks and Charlotte have been feuding since the end of June, and since then, both women have become three-time Women’s Champions, exchanging titles in every bout that they have had except for Clash Of Champions, where Charlotte retained.

The ‘hot potatoing’ of the championship has garnered some criticism from fans who feel that it devalues the championship. Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair are set to face off in another rematch at Roadblock: End Of The Line for the Raw Women’s Championship in a 30-Minute Iron Man match.

Charlotte is undefeated in Pay-Per-View championship matches. All of Sasha Banks’ title wins have been on episodes of Raw, two of which were the main event.
