WWE News: Brock Lesnar announced for live events in 2017

Lesnar’s appearances at live events to be a regular thing now?

The ‘Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar, has not been seen on television ever since the drubbing he received at the hands of Goldberg, at the Survivor Series pay-per-view. Paul Heyman also indicated a potential injury to his client’s ribs.

WWE has announced that Brock Lesnar will be appearing in Dallas, Texas as a part of the RAW brand live event team on Friday, February 17, 2017. According to allwrestlingnews.com, tickets are scheduled to go on sale this Friday, but a pre-sale is running currently with the passcode BROCK.

Apart from this, Lesnar is also scheduled to appear at the Buffalo, New York live event on March 10, 2017.

As of now, WWE hasn’t revealed Lesnar’s opponent at the live event. He could also appear in a non-wrestling role to hype his potential match against Goldberg at WrestleMania 33. He would most likely work a match at the events and it could be against Rusev or any other RAW superstar.

Being a part-timer, Lesnar has rarely been seen at live events, with only a handful of appearances to his name. Recently, he appeared for the Mexico City live event where he crushed Rusev in dominating fashion. You can watch the battle right here:

Lesnar was also a part of the Chicago live event, where he faced Randy Orton in a rematch after the controversial finish at Summerslam.

WWE has not yet announced Lesnar's next television appearance so far, and as of now we might see Lesnar directly at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view after Paul Heyman confirmed the entry of “The Beast” on his behalf. You can check out the segment right here:

The reason behind the inclusion of Lesnar at live events might be a part of WWE’s strategy to hype up the event, thereby generating ticket sales. The issue of low attendance was reported at the Louisville, Kentucky live event this past September.
