Seth Rollins teased being added to Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar.

Seth Rollins challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal title at Royal Rumble 2022. The Visionary's strategy throughout the buildup was to play mind games on his former SHIELD brother. This came to a head when he used the trio's entrance theme and gear to get into Reigns' head right before the match.

As the contest went on, Rollins taunted his former stablemate with callbacks to his betrayal of the group seven years prior. This eventually caused the Tribal Chief to snap and attack The Architect with a steel chair leading to a disqualification.

Roman will defend his title against Royal Rumble winner and new WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in a Winner-Takes-All bout at WrestleMania 38. This will be their third clash at The Showcase of Immortals. Recently, Rollins teased the possibility of being added to this matchup.

His Money in the Bank cash-in in the main event of WrestleMania 31 is still one of the greatest moments in the history of the Show of Shows. Therefore, fans are excited by the prospect of a proper Triple Threat main event between these megastars.

Here are five reasons why Seth Rollins must be added to the Title vs. Title match at WrestleMania 38:

#5. Seth Rollins has never main evented WrestleMania

Seth Rollins has been on the WWE main roster for nearly 10 years. In that decade, he has accomplished almost everything. He has won multiple world championships, the Royal Rumble, the Money in the Bank contract, and more. One thing he hasn't been able to do is main-event WrestleMania. Granted, he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract in the main event of WrestleMania 31.

However, this was a last-minute change, not an advertised match. The Beast Slayer deserves to be featured as an attraction in the main event. Having a proper main event feud leading up to a match is no less than he deserves. Making the Champion vs. Champion match a triple-threat will achieve this in style.

#4. Seth Rollins has a strong record against both Universal Championship contenders

Seth Rollins has enjoyed a great record against two of the most dominant WWE Superstars of all time: Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. The Beast Slayer has defeated Lesnar more than once at Premium Live Events. Rollins' strong record against Reigns was also one of his major taunts against The Tribal Chief in the build-up to their Royal Rumble matchup.

Adding the fact that Rollins has beaten Lesnar for both his Universal Championship wins and Reigns for both his WWE Championship wins, no one has a stronger case to be inserted into the match.

#3. Both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar have a WrestleMania score to settle with Seth Rollins

The last time Seth Rollins was in the main event of WrestleMania, he cashed in his MITB contract on both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. This moment lives in WWE infamy as The Heist of the Century. Lesnar went into the event hoping to defend his championship, with Reigns hoping to win his first. Now that both Paul Heyman guys are back to The Show of Shows, they'd each welcome the chance to avenge the loss they suffered at Rollins' hands.

Inserting The Visionary into the matchup will add an extra layer of spice, allowing both Lesnar and Reigns the chance to get payback as they try to take each other's title.

#2. A Universal title rematch is Seth Rollins' best storyline on the road to WrestleMania 38

Seth Rollins won the Universal title match at Royal Rumble by disqualification. However, he didn't walk out as Universal Champion. That means he has unfinished business with the champion, who still hasn't beaten him in a title match. The Architect has also competed for the WWE title at two of the last three PLEs.

Just like Lesnar got a rematch for the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber, Rollins has a legitimate claim to the same for the Universal title.

#1. Seth Rollins' involvement would protect Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar from being pinned

Seth Rollins is one of the top superstars in WWE. He's a bonafide star. That being said, it's quite clear that Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are the two top dogs in the company right now.

Therefore, should the powers that be need the titles to switch hands without either superstar looking weak, Seth Rollins might be inserted into the matchup to "eat the pin" and preserve their momentum.
