WWE Draft continues after SmackDown; former champions get traded to RAW in a huge move

The 2024 WWE Draft commenced during the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

During this week's show, the destinations for several superstars were announced as both General Managers, Nick Aldis, and Adam Pearce, endeavored to assemble the best possible rosters for their respective brands.

SmackDown acquired stars like Bianca Belair, Carmelo Hayes, and Randy Orton, while RAW added 'Main Event' Jey Uso, Seth 'Freakin' Rollins, and Bron Breakker to their roster. Each brand made eight picks during the Draft.

After the show, WWE announced some more Draft picks. In a massive move, Baron Corbin returned to SmackDown after his stint on NXT. Additionally, The O.C. and the tag team of Cedric Alexander and Ashante "Thee" Adonis will remain on the blue brand.

RAW managed to secure the services of former NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre. They also retained talents such as Ivar, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark.

The WWE Draft will continue on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW, where the futures of several huge stars, including the likes of Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, and Jade Cargill will be determined.

RAW will be live from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, next week.
