A WWE Superstar recently broke his on-screen persona and reached out to Ivar, who is currently injured. He was one of the stars that helped train The Rock for his blockbuster match at WrestleMania 40.

The name in question is Joe Coffey, the leader of the Gallus faction alongside Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang. For those unaware, The Coffey Brothers and Wolfgang assisted The Final Boss in his preparations for his tag team match against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL.

The trio made their comeback on television on the May 14, 2024, episode of NXT attacking Wes Lee, Josh Briggs, and The Viking Raider member backstage. The former RAW Tag Team Champion debunked recent rumors about the legitimacy of his injury.

Warbeard confirmed that he had sustained a "very serious" injury, but had not had surgery yet. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Joe Coffey broke his heel character and gave massive props to Ivar for his incredible toughness. The 35-year-old star wrote:

"Shoutout @Ivar_WWE and absolute workhorse. No one likes to see injuries. Tough as nails!"

Ivar sends a message to his WWE tag team partner

The other half of The Viking Raiders, Erik, has been away from in-ring action for quite some time now. He had undergone a successful neck fusion surgery and has been on the road to recovery since then.

Ivar has been on a singles run since his tag partner was away. The 40-year-old recently unsuccessfully challenged Oba Femi for the NXT North American Championship.

The duo exchanged a few words on social media since Ivar has been ruled out of action due to an injury. Erik shared that he loved his WWE tag team partner and that they would soon reunite as The Viking Raiders down the line.

"Love you too @Erik_WWE. I will race you back," replied Ivar.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Erik and Ivar following their return to in-ring action. Since the 40-year-old star was on a singles run, Warbeard teaming up again with his tag partner remains to be unknown for now.
