Female WWE champion spotted breaking character with Damian Priest backstage after SmackDown; Rhea Ripley likes it

Damian Priest was present during this week's episode of SmackDown and was spotted with another female champion. Later in the night, he had a title match.

Bayley was backstage during the show despite not having a match tonight. However, she did secure herself a bout for next week as Piper Niven and Chelsea Green confronted her again. With Green taking shots at her, the WWE Women's Champion told her that she would face her next Friday.

With that being the case, though, The Role Model was spotted with Damian Priest. He was present for his title match on the dark show after SmackDown went off the air and defeated Kofi Kingston.

He was photographed with Bayley backstage. Priest is still a heel, but Bayley is a face. The women's champion broke her character for them to be pictured together.

Whether this leads to an alliance in the future remains to be seen. Fans will also be waiting to see if Rhea Ripley addresses her fellow Judgment Day member posing with an old rival, but for now, she has liked the tweet as well.

The World Heavyweight Champion was the face when confronting Drew McIntyre, but overall, he has remained a heel since WrestleMania.

The star confronted his faction members and almost got violent with them when they tried to interfere in his matches, and there were hints that he was turning face.

So far, it's yet to be confirmed, and this appearance with Bayley further adds credence to it.
