16-time WWE champion breaks character to praise Logan Paul

Logan Paul successfully transitioned into a WWE Superstar after spending a handful of years with the company. A former rival and multi-time champion broke character to praise The Maverick.

Last year, Logan Paul secured gold for the first time in the promotion when he defeated Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship in Saudi Arabia. The Master of 619 had different feuds, and a surgery planned after the event and before returning for WrestleMania season.

Speaking on Jaxxon Podcast, the multi-time World, Tag Tag, United States, and Intercontinental Champion broke character and praised Logan Paul's work with the promotion. The WWE Hall of Famer spoke highly of The Maverick's ability to pick up professional wrestling and praised the star for successfully transitioning into the business.

"He's actually very good. He's really, really good. He's one of those cases where it's very rare to see, and he picks up so fast. He learns so fast, and a lot has to do with who's teaching him. He's already an athlete specimen. He can box; I'm sure he did some amateur wrestling too when he was younger. Overall, to pick up wrestling as fast as he does, it's very hard. We've had a lot of celebrities and athletes come in from their world into ours, and they'll come in for one night. Logan Paul receives a title shot at WWE King & Queen of the Ring 2024

After a successful title defense against The Apex Predator and The Prizefighter at WrestleMania in Philadelphia, Logan Paul wanted to add more gold to his waist by becoming a double champion.

Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes finished the biggest story in the promotion and captured the Undisputed WWE Championship to close The Showcase of the Immortals. The Maverick later appeared on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown and made his intentions clear against the champion.

On the latest edition of the blue show, Logan Paul cunningly backed out of a Champion vs. Champion match in Saudi Arabia at the last moment. In the end, Cody Rhodes was forced to put his title on the line against The Maverick.

The American Nightmare will have his second title defense in Saudi Arabia at WWE King & Queen of the Ring 2024 against the current United States Champion, Logan Paul.
