The long-awaited first two episodes of season 9 streamed online on May 17, 2024. The first episode, Drag Queens Save the World, was spectacular. The queens performed their anthem, and Keke Palmer also joined the cast. Angeria Paris VanMichaels won the first episode.
The second episode, The Paint Ball, also part of the premier, showcased 24 looks on the runway. These looks consisted of hand-painted pieces in the Werk Room and an art-inspired Paintball. Oscar-nominated actress Stephanie Hsu was one of the guest judges for the episode. After beating Plastique Tiara, Gottmik won the second episode.
