In November, Sean Diddy Combs, known as Diddy in the public sphere, settled a suit filed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura that charged him with r*pe, assault, battery, and serial abuse. Now a video obtained and released by CNN exclusively has emerged, which seems to corroborate the charges of battery leveled in the suit.

The disturbing video footage shows the rapper running after Cassie and throwing her to the floor, kicking and punching her. Since its release, the video has gone viral and the rapper community has responded to it.

"I wanna beat TF outta diddy for that vid I just seen … that’s actually wild," stated Le'Veon Bell.
"We have video proof so ain’t nothing else to question. Sean “Puffy, P. Diddy, Puff, Diddy & Love” Combs is a disgusting person and anyone willing to defend his actions should seek therapy right along with him," said rapper Emanny.
"nah he need to die," opined Jay Versace.
"That Diddy footage is too disturbing. Interesting that this is from 2016 and just coming out now. Did someone at the hotel JUST grow a conscious? Did the NDA expire? Was he late on the evidence suppression payment? So many questions...AND some of yall owe Cassie an apology..." commented Rah Digga.
"Now I’m sure puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing ! This is what his lawyers are gonna say, God help us all," 50 Cent reacted.

Cassie Ventura's lawyer reacts to the video footage of Diddy and her

Cassie Ventura's lawyer Douglas Wigdor has reacted to the footage released by CNN in a general press statement on May 17, 2024, stating:

"The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light."

An unnamed spokesperson for IGH Hotel Management, which used to manage the hotel in question, also responded to the footage, stating in a statement to USA Today on May 17, 2024:

"This hotel is no longer under IHG management, and we do not have any access to prior incident records or footage."

Sean Diddy Combs has not responded to the new footage as of the writing of this article. Reacting to the footage, therapist Erik Anderson told USA Today on May 17, 2024, that it is perfectly alright for people to not watch it:

"I don't think we have a responsibility to witness every instance of violence that happens. Here's an instance of very ugly violence, and people kind of need to be responsible for understanding what's going to trigger them and what they're able to tolerate."

The new video comes after more allegations have surfaced against the rapper, with November 2023 seeing allegations of r*pe and assault being made by Joi Dickerson-Neal against the rapper for an alleged incident that took place back in 1991.

At the same time, another lawsuit was filed against the rapper as well as Aaron Hall by Liza Gardner, accusing both of them of ra***g her, followed by another lawsuit filed by an unknown plaintiff a month later with the same charges against the rapper.
