Emma Raducanu stunned the tennis world by winning the 2021 US Open without dropping a set after entering the main draw as a qualifier. She has since yet to add to her list of titles or build on the early success.

The 20-year-old has continued to remain upbeat despite being hampered by poor form and a string of injuries.

During a question-answer session with fans on social media, she was asked if she would rather win another Grand Slam or be ranked as the WTA World No. 1. Raducanu responded with a cartoon image of herself holding a trophy, insinuating that she prefers winning another Major over the top rank.

When probed as to her go-to coffee order, the young star, whose popularity has continued to soar despite her on-court travails, picked extra-frothy soy cappucino as her brew of choice.

Raducanu was also asked by a fan to choose a song that she could not stop listening to. She mentioned that 'Temporary' by 6lack ft. Don Toliver happens to be a track that features prominently on her playlist right now.

Meanwhile on court, Raducanu suffered a first-round exit in the Miami Open, disappointing her fans after a relatively encouraging run in Indian Wells where she reached the Round of 16.

Emma Raducanu's injury woes, which have persistently impeded her progress ever since the 2021 US Open win, continued to be a hindrance early in the 2023 season as well.

A left ankle injury forced her out midway through a second-round match in Auckland which cast a shadow over her availability for the Australian Open.

Much to the delight of fans, the gritty Raducanu regained fitness in time for the Melbourne Grand Slam only to go down to Coco Gauff in the second round.

Following a bout of tonsillitis and continued problems with her wrist, she confounded critics by advancing to the fourth round at Indian Wells with creditable wins against Magda Linette and Beatriz Haddad Maia.

Emma Raducanu failed to get past defending champion Iga Swiatek in the fourth round before slumping to a first-round exit in Miami.
