WWE RAW 19th October 2015 - 3 things that worked

Interesting confrontation

Stone Cold is backThis was a Raw where all the hype came down to doing everything that once worked, and it was proven that it all still works. Be it the Undertaker, Stone Cold, Lesnar, Ric Flair and HBK coming back to Raw or WWE teasing a Shield reunion, it all worked and the fact of the matter is that storylines continued all around.Lesnar and Undertaker face each other at Hell In a Cell, Rollins is on his way to becoming more and more unfavorable with Triple H, and Wyatt and Reigns are ready for their cage match.Ambrose, on the other hand, is great in his own way. Here are the three things that worked from last night’s show -

#3 Rollins Vs HBK

Interesting confrontation

Yes, HBK should return for one last match. And yes, it should be against Seth Rollins. The Dallas crowd deservedly chanted for one more match. The Rollins - Michaels confrontation led to Rollins teaming up with The Shield.

Rollins wasn’t impressed that Michaels thought so highly about himself and did not put the young champion over. HBK is Triple H’s best friend and Rollins picking up a fight may be consequential in the future.

Michaels surely had the upper hand in this conversation. He not only verbally decimated heel Rollins, he got a standing ovation after his music hit for him to walk back.

#2 The Shield Reunion

Cool Moment

It was just a one time thing but it was a tease for something in the future. All three guys were there and not introduced as The Shield but by their individual names and all three of them were made to stand by their character traits. Their interaction was funny, entertaining and of course it was a bit heartbreaking that it did not last.

It was a nice little touch when Rollins finally, after looking at the audience, stepped up for a staredown with his Shield brothers against The Wyatts.

Cool moment.

#1 STONE COLD! STONE COLD!

The Rattlesnake is here.

Never say never in wrestling. Just when rumors were swirling around that Steve Austin won’t make an appearance and after weeks of ‘Will he? Won’t he?’ Raw began with the sound of the glass breaking. Steve Austin was back and how glorious was it that he opened RAW in Dallas, Texas.

It sure was great, but what happened later on was something that made the fans go berserk. Steve Austin introduced The Undertaker and that later led to Lesnar coming out.

We’re back to 2002, guys!
