Michael Irvin suggests all Brittany Mahomes "really wants" is spotlight with Taylor Swift

Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift have started a great relationship in recent weeks, with Patrick Mahomes' wife welcoming Travis Kelce's rumored girlfriend into Kansas City Chiefs games.

On Monday, however, Skip Bayless and Michael Irvin had different opinions on the scenes observed during the game between the Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers. Both hosts from The Undisputed agreed that Brittany Mahomes is just trying hard to be close to Taylor Swift and attract the spotlight:

Bayless: I don't even know how Travis got it in the endzone. It was a dangerous play but the point was flash up to the box Taylor Swift and Mahomes' wife had choreographed and obviously rehearsed a touchdown celebration.

Irvin: People have already gotten on Patrick Mahomes' wife because they thought she would like too much of the spotlight, and now she gets it - Brittany Mahomes really wants Taylor Swift as her bestie.

The relationship status of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift is still unknown, with no official confirmation by any of the two. While the rumors have been swarming NFL circles for a month, there seems to be no pressure for the superstars to neither confirm nor deny what's going on with them.

The singer was once again present in a Kansas City Chiefs game to watch Travis Kelce play, and it was a nice victory for the tight end, Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, as they dominated their biggest division rivals for the 2023 season and won 31-17.

But outside the game, a small detail was caught up by cameras which sent Swift and Kelce fans into a frenzy. As the singer watched the game, she was wearing a bracelet with the number #87 with a heart next to it. The individual support worked out, as Travis Kelce amassed some incredible 12 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown.

While Patrick Mahomes continues to be one of the NFL's most in-form superstars, his wife Brittany Mahomes took a step down from social media in 2022 after constantly being in the news over her posts.

She drew ire from fans following some of her takes on her husband's performances and the criticisms he received throughout the season.

The pair have two kids: Sterling, a two-year-old daughter, and son Bronze, born right before the 2023 season.
