As Christian McCaffrey's wedding day nears, his fiancee Olivia Culpo is intensifying their preparations.

Neither a date nor a venue has been set for the occasion, but the 2012 Miss Universe posted on Wednesday an Instagram story of herself shopping for rings in New York City:

The new piece of jewelry will eventually replace the Ring Concierge unit she wore when the San Francisco 49ers running back presented the queston to her in April 2023.

Much has been mentioned about Christian McCaffrey's impending wedding day by Olivia Culpo throughout her seemingly monthly interviews with PEOPLE.

However, in the latest of them, which she conducted during a dinner with supplements brand Thorne on Tuesday, she provided more details on how the ceremony would progress.

Among those details was the return of an old tradition:

"I know for sure we're not going to do a first look, so he won’t see me until I'm walking down the aisle, I think that that's a little less common these days."

As for the preparations, she said that she's resorting to a more relaxed approach to avoid overburdening herself:

"I think anything can happen at any moment when you are on the day. And I'm just trying to prepare as much as possible and then let it lie. Whatever happens will happen. At least I know I prepared as much as I could, but I'm really taking a laid-back approach to all of this."

While no exact wedding date has been revealed so far, she also hinted that their honeymoon might be delayed to "next year" because of the upcoming NFL season.

On the same day, Culpo, in an interview with Page Six, revealed that Christian McCaffrey has had a certain degree of involvement in the pre-nuptials, but none in the aesthetics.
