Austin Ekeler's fiancée Melanie Wilking turns emotional after 'special' Las Vegas move: "This is a big step"

Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler and his fiancée Melanie Wilking recently started a new chapter in their relationship. After the conclusion of the NFL season, Wilking moved to Las Vegas where Eleker lives during the offseason.

Wilking documented the move on her Instagram page, showing a moving truck packed to the brim headed for the trip to Vegas. On Thursday, she held a Q&A session with her followers on Instagram and answered questions about her big move.

When asked how she feels about moving in with Ekeler, she called it 'special' and shared that the couple has been long distance their entire relationship.

"I can't even describe how excited I am. Austin and I have been pretty much long distance our whole relationship, so to be able to be with your person and not have to say goodbye is very special."

Wilking shared with another follower that she didn't want to move in together until they were engaged. She said that now is the perfect time for her and the Los Angeles Chargers running back to live together and that she is excited for their next step.

"When Austin proposed, we had talked about it and decided that I would be moving with him to Vegas during the offseason. This is definitely a big step for us and I couldn't be more excited."

In another response, Wilking also said that Austin Ekeler has lived in Las Vegas for the last three years during the offseason and that she helped him decorate and furnish the home. So, it felt like home to her from the second she officially moved in.

She began dancing at the age of two and began competing at the age of seven. Wilking has been a backup dancer for Megan Trainor, Selena Gomez, and Joe Jonas. She initially performed TikTok dances with her sister, Miranda, as they were known as the 'The Wilking Sisters'.

For the last two years though, she has continued creating dance content online alone. She has over 230,000 followers on Instagram, 3.5 million followers on TikTok, and over 60 million likes on her dance videos.
