Former World Superbike riders Giancarlo Falappa and Fabrizio Pirovano have been inducted into the SBK Hall of Fame. The event took place at Misano Adriatico as part of the celebrations for the twenty-fifth anniversary of the World Superbike Championship.

Both riders have had a notable career in Superbike with Falappa having scored sixteen race victories in five years and Pirovano having taken five Italian SBK titles. Falappa was forced to retire from the sport following a heavy crash during a private test at Albacete. However, he remained involved though not as a rider.
