"I am 100 percent ready" - Featherweight Muay Thai king Tawanchai says it's all systems go for Jo Nattawut redo

ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai is set to do battle once more with 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut with his world title on the line this time at ONE 167 on June 7.

The 25-year-old from Pattaya, Thailand had his hand raised the first time they fought and believes that the outcome will remain the same when they meet inside the Circle again inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, here is what the PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym affiliate said about his preparations for the rematch:

"My preparation for this fight has been going really well. I am 100 percent ready."

The upcoming bout with Nattawut marks his third defense of the featherweight Muay Thai world title after defeating Petchmorakot Petchyindee in September 2022 in an action-packed five-round war of attrition to claim it.

For Nattawut, he has not forgotten the sting of defeat the first time they fought, albeit it was under kickboxing rules. The 34-year-old would love nothing more than to get his revenge against the defending king while taking his ONE world championship in the process.

ONE Muay Thai prodigy foresees easy victory for Tawanchai at ONE 167

As the Thai striking dynamos prepare to duke it out once more with the featherweight Muay Thai world championship on the line in the co-main event of ONE 167, Muay Thai sensation Johan Ghazali is confident that Tawanchai will win.

Here is what he said in an interview with Sportskeeda MMA:

"In Muay Thai, I feel Tawanchai is taking this easy. He has elbows, kicks and knees, he has been fighting Muay Thai a lot more than kickboxing. So yeah, a win for him here."
