In the end, a pretty one-sided fixture as Donaustadt showcase their quality with a 104-run victory. Chasing 186 off ten overs was always going to be impossible and it was made further difficult when Mehar Cheema was castled by Sahel Zadran. The Indian CC Vienna skipper Kunal Joshi also didn't last for long as he departed at the start of the second over. At the other end, Ranjit Singh provided some entertainment as he took on the Donaustadt bowlers with good effect.

Ranjit's 31-run blitz was brought to an end by Noor Ahmadzai in the fourth over while Aman Ahmadzai struck twice after that to leave Indian CC Vienna reeling at 62-5. Thereafter, there were a couple of wickets each in the sixth and seventh overs as the innings came to a quick end. Finally, Inzirgul Ahmadzai was run-out as Indian CC Vienna were rolled over for 81 with 16 balls still left in the innings
