A vintage ad featuring Michael Block went viral online during his memorable PGA Championship run. Block can be seen promoting Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club‎, a public golf course based in California.

The one-minute-long video showcases an impressive acting performance by the golfer who gives us the round of the golf course and the facilities that Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club‎ has to offer.

The commercial starts with Block introducing himself:

"Hi, my name is Michael Block. I'm the head golf pro here at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club."
"Why am I better at golf than you? Well, I get to spend my days here in golf heaven, where all your golf dreams come true, or even your worst shot can become your best shot, sport."

Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club also has a restaurant, O'Neill.

"Weird proud after your perfect round, you're going to need your perfect meal.Here at O'Neill's, we're not only famous for our food, we're also famous for our service."

In the next frame, we see Block crashing a marriage at the golf club.

"Anything's possible at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club. You gotta see it, so believe it," he concludes.

The 46-year-old gives $150 at his home club but the week at PGA Championship overturned his fortunes. Prior to the Oak Hill event, his highest paycheck was $75,000.

Nevertheless, over the four days, he carded three 70s and a 71 on the final day to finish tied for 15th place, his best-ever finish in majors. This earned him $288,333, an automatic exemption for the 106th PGA Championship.


Where will Michael Block play next?

Following the fourth round at Oak Hill, Michael Block received the great news of getting an exemption from the Charles Schwab Challenge that begins Thursday, May 25. He also earned an invitation to RBC Canadian Open that will take place next month.

The Charles Schwab Challenge will take place from May 25 to May 28 in Fort Worth at Colonial Country Club. Many of the top golfers are skipping this week's event due to fatigue from the major championship. 23 of the World's top 50 players will feature at the Colonial Country Club, The purse size of the event is $8,700,000.
