Fortnitemares 2022 teaser reveals new skin, Zombies, and more

The Fortnitemares 2022 event will be released on Tuesday, October 18, and many players cannot wait for it to finally come out. On Friday, October 14, Epic Games revealed some of the upcoming content that will be launched for the event. This includes two special skins and zombified animals.

Two new skins will prepare players for Fortnitemares 2022, and it appears that the developers will also introduce new gameplay features. The annual Fortnite Halloween event will bring lots of things to the popular video game, which is why a lot of players are so excited about this one.

Back in March, Epic Games held the so-called Concept Royale. This was a friendly competition between artists who competed for a $2,500 cash prize and a chance to have their created outfit featured in the title.

Dreo and Kitsu ended up winning the contest and will have their outfits added to the game just before the Fortnitemares 2022 event. Kitsu designed the Undying Sorrow, which can be seen in the screenshot above. This item looks incredible and definitely fits the Halloween theme.

Dreo, on the other hand, went with a different idea and designed the Sinister Glare outfit, which is also unique and has its own appeal.

The two outfits were leaked following the release of the v22.10 update, which came out on Tuesday, October 4. Ever since then, players have been expecting these cosmetic items to hit the Item Shop, but the wait is almost over.

Epic Games revealed that both Sinister Glare and Udying Sorrow will be released on Saturday, October 15. These skins will be available shortly before the Fortnitemares 2022 event comes out, which is great news for everyone who has been waiting for them.

The developers will release a lot of other skins during the Fortnite Halloween event as well. There have been talks regarding a collaboration with Dead by Daylight, so it's probable that some of the most popular characters from the survival game will come to Fortnite.

The promotional image for the two upcoming skins shows a zombified chicken, meaning undead creatures will be a new feature during the Fortnitemares 2022 event. Before Chapter 3 Season 4 was even released, there were leaks regarding zombified animals, and it seems like they were accurate.

Epic Games will also release a new boss during Fortnitemares 2022. According to the leakers, the boss will spawn animals and will drop a Mythic weapon when eliminated. Furthermore, the entity will drop the Pumpkin Launcher, which is one of the most-liked weapons in the history of Fortnite Battle Royale.
