Sneijder dumps Galatasaray offer

Dutch dead-ball specialist Wesley Sneijder’s agent has dismissed all reports of his client signing for Turkish giants, Galatasaray. Soren Lerby, Sneijder’s agent, says it’s too early to speculate on such things.

Lerby said,“That’s impossible. We didn’t even talk with Gala, so there couldn’t be an agreement. I have no idea [about an agreement between the two sides]. Inter haven’t told me about it. I don’t expect Sneijder to sign a contract just yet.”

He went on to say, “Anything is possible. Over the next few weeks we will consider every offer that comes our way. It’s the choice of Wesley and his wife Yolanthe. Until then, Wesley needs to rest so he can make the right decision.”

Abdurrahim Albayrak, the Sporting Director of Galatasaray, had earlier said that he expected Sneijder to “most likely” sign with their team.
