Real Madrid's honorary president Paco Gento said on Wednesday that there is no way the football club should sell its Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo, this summer.
Ronaldo's future with Los Blancos has been the subject of speculation in recent months, with potential offers from Paris Saint-Germain and his former club Manchester United who are said to be considering making a huge bid when the transfer window opens this summer, reports Efe.

Ronaldo has had a wobbly season but now he is the top goal scorer in both the Champions League with 13 goals and La Liga with 29, after he hit the winner in last weekend's 2-1 Clasico win at Camp Nou.
Speaking to the Merengues-backing website La Galerna, Gento, six-time European Cup winner with Los Blancos said: "How are you going to sell a player who scores so many goals for you every day. No, man, no. Plus, Madrid have never been a selling club, Madrid above all have bought players. Madrid should not sell, they should buy. Cristiano knows the people here, and the club loves him."
Gento compared Ronaldo to legend Alfredo Di Stefano when it comes to angry gestures towards teammates who do not do as he wishes, and considered this behaviour as a sign of perfectionism.
"Such perfectionism is good. Di Stefano was like that too. Cristiano's gestures are explained as he always wants to be the best, and that is very important. We must really appreciate Cristiano for all he does. Every time he scores he makes us all very happy," the former Spain international noted.
Gento also stressed that the current Real squad could produce another Galactico, especially with Gareth Bale playing more on the left side of the pitch, even though the Welshman himself has spoken of a preference for playing either centrally or on the right.
