Despite training with the first team, Bastian will not be allowed to play in a United shirt unless there are serious injury concerns for Mourinho in his midfield.

According to Independent, Mourinho is allowing Schweinsteiger to train with the first team so that he is able to offload him in the January transfer window.

Pepe to sign new Real Madrid contract

Real Madrid defender Pepe has decided to snub Chelsea’s advances and is ready to sign a new contract with Real Madrid following Toni Kroos and Gareth Bale. Real Madrid hierarchy are aware of their transfer bans in the upcoming two transfer windows and are not in favor of losing a player of Pepe’s abilities.

Pepe, 32, is adamant on getting a 2-year deal instead of the 1-year extension initially offered.

According to Marca, Los Blancos are ready to offer Pepe a 2-year deal in the coming weeks which will keep the Portuguese defender at the Santiago Bernabeu at least until 2018.
