Just days after being the star player for Chile in the 2016 Copa America Centenario and helping his side win the tournament, Alexis Sanchez has been advised to leave Arsenal and return to Serie A in order to join Juventus in the summer transfer window by Mauro Camoranesi,

The Turin club recently saw Real Madrid trigger the buyback clause to bring Alvaro Morata back to the Spanish capital club. This has seen reports suggesting that Italian champions are looking at bringing Sanchez as the Spaniard's successor.

Camoranesi, the 39-year-old former Juventus midfielder, who won the World Cup with Italy, believes the Chilean international could benefit if he decides to leave Arsenal and join Massimiliano Allegri's side.

“I heard that it could be Alexis Sanchez. He knows the Italian football,” Camoranesi told Goal.com.

“He has the speed to cause problems for opposition defences, he will be joining a team with a winning mentality and I think it can be a great opportunity for him and Juve could get more out of him."

“Alexis is a different player. You have already [Mario] Mandzukic and [Paulo] Dybala, and with Alexis they can make a stronger attack.”

Meanwhile, Morata is attracting interest from several clubs from the Premier League. The list includes the likes of Arsenal, Jose Mourinho's Manchester United and Chelsea as the Blues' incoming manager Antonio Conte is looking to rebuild the squad in his own image.

Morata was part of the Spain side that lost suffered a 2-0 defeat to Italy in Round of 16 of the European championship in France. He will return to his homeland and Camoranesi has urged the striker to reject the option to continue with the Champions League winners as the Italian believes the attacker will struggle to get regular playing time at the Santiago Bernabéu.

“Juve will lose what they were looking for, a goalscorer, a versatile player who has the definition, speed,” the former Italy international explained.

“When he arrived Juventus knew he was a high-quality player. In Italy, he proved it because he re-emerged after not having continuity at Real Madrid. Those who love Juventus like me wanted him to stay because he has performed very well."

"By not being a worldwide star, I don’t think he will get constant games [at Madrid]. Morata is not one of these media celebrities, he is a great player but will probably player fewer minutes than he did at Juventus."
