5 possible destinations for PFA Player of the Year N'Golo Kante

One of the most sought-after players in the world: N'Golo Kante (R)

N’Golo Kante has been a revelation in England winning the Premier League in his debut season with Leicester City and is en route to replicating the feat with his current club, Chelsea. The Frenchman's incredible stamina, sturdy physique, and strong will have helped him keep the best of players at bay while protecting the defenders of his side.

However, having proved to the world already what a talent he is, there seem to be a number of clubs lining up to sign him in the summer – even though it may seem that the chances of them doing so are almost minuscule.

The Frenchman has seen his value rise by 400% in just one year and is teasing some of the bigger European giants who want to prise him away and place him in their teams. The usual suspects have all shown interest but what are the realistic destinations for this diminutive genius?

Bayern Munich

It's not often Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga is disrupted. The Bavarians have gone back to their roots of direct football and impeccable movement under Carlo Ancelotti but the Italian manager is yet to win over their fans having crashed out of the domestic cup and the UEFA Champions League in a matter of 10 days.

Bayern Munich have a lot of players who are past their prime or at least in the final stages of their career. Xabi Alonso, Philipp Lahm, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery are all the names that come to mind and with the club set to lose the former two to retirement in the summer, they're in dire need of bodies on their side, ones with enough quality to challenge those two Spanish giants in Europe.

N'Golo Kante is not going to be a cheap option for any side but if Bayern Munich decide they want to sign a player, it can be done. They have the money and the collateral talent to ensure the best only develop whilst with them.

AC Milan

The next giants

I really hope everyone is noticing all the changes happening at AC Milan. The club have just been bought over by a Chinese conglomerate and ones who are more than determined to restore the Italian club to their former glory.

And what better way to announce to the world that they're again a force to be reckoned with than by signing one of the most coveted players in all of Europe? The Milanese club now have the money, the desire to complement their history and some eye-popping young talent.

Should the Frenchman switch the Bridge for the San Siro, he'll join an illustrious group of players to have represented the club in recent decades. Once you align yourself with AC Milan's history and legacy, there's no turning back. This deal could go a lot smoother if AC Milan somehow manage to finish in a UEFA Champions League slot.

Barcelona

His final gift for the club could be signing the Frenchman

If there's one club in all of Europe that's deep in need of a massive overhaul, it's La Liga's Barcelona. The Catalan side are now the second most recognised football side in the world and will continue to draw the best players around the world to their dressing room to feature alongside the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Andres Iniesta.

And with the club suffering the same fate as Bayern Munich – i.e, too many ageing stars and no more clear direction – the club are in dire need of reinforcements and ones that could actually affect the first-team. Paco Alcacer, Andre Gomes, and Denis Suarez have done nothing to cement a permanent first-team spot since signing on and the club have to be wary of adding those kinds of players.

One player who would definitely walk into the side is N'Golo Kante. With his energy, his excellent reading of the game and his carbon pure desire, the Frenchman will be an asset to the side and could revolutionise the team once again. Maybe signing the Frenchman could be Luis Enrique's final gift to the club. It will be one he'll be remembered for.

Real Madrid

Frenchmen unite!

The most valuable football club in the world, the most sought-after destination for most footballers and the richest club in the world: Real Madrid are flying high. Having gone through a dip in recent years, the club are now back winning against the very best in all of Europe.

Zinedine Zidane has been an instrumental figure in guiding them to the top of the La Liga table and into the final four of the UEFA Champions League this season while also ensuring the best of players are complimented by those who work best around them.

And in N'Golo Kante, he'll have someone who isn't as much of a trainwreck as Casemiro while also being one who could do the job way better. The Frenchman is more astute with his positioning and his defensive responsibilities which could make Sergio Ramos’ job a lot easier guiding the final four.

This is the link that's most prevalent in the rumour section. Should the La Liga club come in for Kante in the summer, expect them to pay a stellar fee.

Stay at Chelsea

There's definitely love brewing here

Given that Chelsea are finally a competitive team again – after last season's calamitous journey – and with the club set to win the Premier League this time around, N'Golo Kante ought to buckle up and stay with the West London club knowing full well he runs the roost and has a team that could take the fight to the best out there.

Antonio Conte is in love with Kante and the two of them have the chance to guide the Blues to another successful UEFA Champions League campaign replicating a former Italian manager in Roberto di Matteo.

Kante could go down as the first player ever to win back-to-back Premier League titles with two different clubs and the chance to now build on those wins should weigh most heavily with the Frenchman. Here's hoping he doesn't leave the Premier League for he's simply too good.
