Stellar Blade respec guide: How to Reset Eve’s Skill Tree

Stellar Blade allows you to respec Eve’s Skill Tree and bring in a bit more variety to gameplay as you make your way through the narrative. However, to reset all of her skill points you need to use a specific item at a specific location or it will not work. If you do this wrong, you will receive an error message. The game also doesn’t exactly tell you how to go about using the respec item, which is called the SP Initializer. As mentioned, to respec in the game, you first need to get your hands on some SP Initializer. You will be able to find a fair amount of these by just exploring the world and completing side missions.

Once you have an SP Initializer, you will need to:

• Head to a camp and then make your way to Eve’s “Skill Settings” terminal. This will be located next to a vending machine.
• Once you have made your way to the Skill Settings, head to the Skill Tree that you want to respec.
• You will get the option to reset all of the skill points by pressing the Triangle button and consuming one SP Initializer.

However, do keep in mind that one SP Initializer will not respec all the Skill Tree, it will only reset the points on the tree that you are on. So to completely overhaul Eve’s abilities you will need to use multiple SP Initializers in Stellar Blade.

Here are some of the best ways to get SP Initializers in Stellar Blade:

1) Through exploration

One of the best ways to get the respec item is to explore the semi-open world of the game and complete as many side quests as possible. These missions often offer SP Initializers. However, make sure that you progress through the story and Eidos 7 first since you will start getting the respec item only after you have completed the opening chapters.

2) Buy the respec item

The next best way to obtain it will be to purchase it from the vending machines or the shop vendors at Xion. It will usually go for 200 Gold, so it is far from the most expensive item in the game.
