Faf du Plessis will be up against his former franchise once again. The RCB skipper's opening partnership with the in-form Virat Kohli could dictate how the game goes for the home team.

Middle Order: Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, Mahipal Lomror, Dinesh Karthik (wk)

Will Jacks has left the camp to honor his international commitments, and Glenn Maxwell should replace him in a straight swap. The rest of RCB's middle order is expected to wear a similar look, with Rajat Patidar and Cameron Green rounding off the top five.

Mahipal Lomror hasn't been a certainty in the side, but with CSK likely to employ two left-arm spinners and RCB needing their batting unit to play fearlessly, he should be included.
