Nidahas Trophy: 4 players who can win the trophy for India

Australia v India - Game 1

By eliminating Sri Lanka in a thrilling match, Bangladesh entered the final of the Nidahas Trophy. Now, they face a formidable Indian side in the final. The Indian side have a plethora of good players they can bank on. But, these four players will play the key role in the final against Bangladesh.

#1 Rohit Sharma

When Rohit Sharma gets going, he is very difficult to contain. On his day, he can change the course of the match alone. He has been amongst runs in the current series and the onus will be on him to perform in the final match.

Going by his ability to score big runs, Rohit is the man the Indian team would look at to help them win the Tri-Series. Being the captain of the Indian team for the current series, it becomes imperative for Rohit to lead by example and score big runs.

Subcontinent pitches suit Rohit and he would surely take the momentum forward from the last match, where he scored a blistering 89 from 61 deliveries. Bangladesh would be wary of the Rohit tide since he already assaulted them in the last outing.

#2 Shikhar Dhawan

India v Sri Lanka - ICC Champions Trophy

Shikhar Dhawan is the third highest run scorer of the series. He has scored a total of 188 runs in the series so far. He has been in good touch over the past one year.

Dhawan's consistency makes him a dangerous prospect at the top. India's chances of winning the series go up a few notches if Dhawan is amongst runs.

#3 Suresh Raina

India v South Africa - ICC Twenty20 World Cup Warm Up

The southpaw from Uttar Pradesh is known to torment opposition in the T20 format. He along with Manish Pandey provide India balance in the middle order. He has been timing the ball well recently and has been amongst the runs in the ongoing series.

Raina can be lethal especially in the death overs. He has performed in both the matches against Bangladesh in the current series, scoring 28 and 47 runs respectively.

#4 Washington Sundar

FINAL - ICC Under 19 World Cup

Washington Sundar has been a revelation for Team India in the ongoing series. He has picked the most number of wickets in the series at an enviable economy of 5.87 runs per over. He has shown more maturity than any other bowler in the series. He ran through the Bangladesh top order in the last match.

Sundar has shown great potential and talent in the short span of four matches that he has played and will be looking to cement his spot in the side.
