A rising AEW star has issued a statement in response to a rumor making the rounds. Injuries are an unfortunate part of pro wrestling, but now and then the rumor mill and backstage sources get it wrong.

The Renegade Twins debuted with AEW in mid-2021 as singles competitors on Dark until they began teaming up in January 2022. Charlette Renegade and Robyn Renegade then debuted for ROH in February 2023. Since then the former NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions have racked up a tag record of 6-6 in AEW, and 1-5 in ROH. The 24-year-old twins have also worked numerous singles bouts.

Charlette has not wrestled since the ROH tapings on December 23, 2023. Robyn has continued to work singles matches in both promotions. Fightful Select reported that Charlette has been battling concussion issues and is actively working to get cleared for an in-ring return, but no timeframe was available. However, the 4-year grappler took to X today and dismissed the report:

"False, I'll explain my situation on my time. Thank you for respecting my privacy at this time [black heart emoji]," Charlette Renegade wrote.

Charlette's dismissal was acknowledged by Fightful, but they added how All Elite sources are adamant that concussion issues led to her absence. Sources also reiterated that Charlette is actively working to get medically cleared.
