21-time champion finally responds to Kenny Omega hinting at his potential AEW arrival

A 21-time champion has finally responded to Kenny Omega’s hint about him moving to AEW. This star is well known on the independent scene.

The name in question is Speedball Mike Bailey. He is signed with TNA Wrestling and is a former X Division Champion. Omega recently hinted that the Canadian wrestler could have done great things in AEW had he arrived before leaving, with the caveat that he still might.

Now, Bailey has taken to Twitter to acknowledge the former AEW World Champion’s comments and said that he had learned a lot from him.

“Those words really mean a lot. I learned so much from that match we had in PWG. It set me up perfectly to debut in DDT a few months later. I don't think I would be where I am today without that match. I have so much respect for @KennyOmegamanX! 🙏,” Bailey tweeted.

Bryan Danielson calls Kenny Omega the greatest Canadian wrestler

Bryan Danielson is known for having strong opinions, and he did so again when he said that Kenny is the GOAT of Canadian wrestlers.

Bret Hart comes to mind when discussing the greatest wrestlers from Canada, but not for Bryan. The latter was a guest on the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs coverage when he gave his controversial answer.

"This is gonna be controversial... Kenny Omega. You know, when you watch him, and he's hurt right now, but he is one of the most fantastic wrestlers you will ever see. It's gonna be controversial... I am a huge Bret Hart fan, right? But when you watch Kenny Omega, who wrestles for AEW, he's hurt now. I love Bret Hart, and love the Hart Family," he said.

That is Omega's ultimate sign of approval, and it's great to see that the two company stars have a lot of mutual respect.
